Only the true Blood 'N' Bubble aficionado will be able to identify this month's movie. Pictured above is the poster for this 1974 horror / suspense release. It shows a South Pacific woman staring off into the mist of a waterfall that appears to be cascading out of a skull. The film doesn't have much to do with the poster, save for the fact that it was shot in the Philippines. The movie starred Jock Gaynor, Vic Diaz and Larry Ward. It is the story of how a salvage diver finds the skeleton of a goddess chained to the deck of a sunken shipwreck. The goddess somehow is reborn and comes onto land to kill seven virgin women. The diver and his buddy don't care too much about the killings because they are interested in the fortune on board the shipwreck that the Goddess was supposed to guard. Can you name this movie?

Deathhead Virgin. In the annals of bad dive movies, Deathhead Virgin rises to the top. For 1 hour and 34 minutes viewers must endure this underwater bomb. The dive scenes are a mishmash of underwater scenes used in other movies. The best scenes are on board the wreck of the treasure boat. One of the divers has an underwater fight with the monstera naked actress wearing a Tiki god mask, wrestled underwater with a fully equipped scuba diver. By necessity the fight scene is kept short and the diver ends up trapped inside the wreck staring at the rapidly falling needle of his pressure gauge!Rating: 1/2 bubble
